Three Kids
In digital photography class, I worked on restoring an old image of the kids sitting on steps. The picture was torn, damaged, and was in need of repair. Using photoshop, I worked to fix the major flaws in the picture using a variety of different tools.
Restored Image of Man and Woman
This was a somewhat challenging picture to restore because of the intricate details. For this picture, I had to first fix the bottom right corner because it was all white. Then, I inserted a picture from the internet of a coat since the lady in the picture did not have one. From there, I cloned parts of the image to restore it then filled the different elements of the pictures with color. The objective was to get the picture we restored to look like the original picture above.
Army Men
For this project, I had to restore a picture of a bunch of army men. I started off by recoloring objects in the picture such as their uniforms green. I then recolored all of their faces and hands a skin color. I used different techniques on this project such as overlays of colors and blurs. Here is the before picture without any restoring, then the second picture which I restored.
Paintings in Art Gallery
For this project, I copied and pasted a woman in a painting into a background layer. From there, I copied and pasted the paintings of the lady and distorted them so they fit into five different destinations around the gallery.
Baseball Card
This baseball card is worth a lot. However, in this picture it was originally damaged and torn. So, I used photoshop to restore the card and try to make it look new.
Building A Picture One Pixel At A Time
For this project, I restored an image of a man, a lady and a baby sitting on a bench. I had to build parts of the image that were not originally there, such as the sides of the building in the background. This is the finished product.
Erik Johansson
For this project, we flipped and cropped the image on the left to create a reflection. We then put the reflection into the street and lowered the transparency. We then made certain lines in the street to create boxes and removed some of the tiles in order to get the original image below it of a street. This created an illusion.
Extract The Subject
For this project I collaged a picture of a man onto a dock. Also using a few techniques, I created a shadow of the man onto the dock. First though I had flip the picture of the man horizontally so it was defined what side of the man the sun was hitting. This is the final result. As you can see, this is the final result.
Wedding Dress Photo
For this project, I took a picture which was broken up and put it back together in an attempt to make it look brand new again. I used a bunch of different photo shop tools to do so.
